smokin' rotors

finally got my avid BB7 disc brakes installed today. that almost completes the modifications i'd do to it for a long while before i upgrade the drivetrain later. that would probably max out my bike so for now i'll just run it as it is. here are the juicy pictures:

the completed product. how cool is that! anyway i've still got to get used to them, they don't bite as well as my previous brakes but i suppose that's just a brake pad issue. also, while inflating the tires, my arms accidentally touched the rotors and almost got fried. ow. these things ain't funny, they go up to a few hundred degrees under hard braking.
