floor the pedal

our last PE lesson ended with floorball, a sport i've been dying to play for ages since primary school. after all, it was a shut-up-and-whack kinda sport, and most guys would favour that. lol.

it was an extremely hilarious match watching how my classmates played. in fact each had their own signature style that i can make a book of rules.

this is a short post so i'll let the pictures do the talking. photos courtesy of a sony ericsson k700i, with an annoyingly low VGA resolution but shoots faster than you can say "back!"

THE 1T08 Rules Of Floorball
1.)There is no such thing as an 'out of boundary' ball.
2.)There is no such thing as a ball that stays on the ground for more than 5 seconds.
3.)There is no such thing as a standing goalie.
4.)No one gets penalised for doing a Zidane on another player.
5.)A goalie doesn't get any card for leaving the post and scoring at the opposing one.


1T08 Signature Styles
1.)The "Over My Head" in which the ball is bounced on the edge of the stick parallel to the ground repeatedly towards the opposing goal and smacking it in mid-air to score (as perfected by KIAN SENG)
2.)The "Nut Shot" in which the ball is driven along a certain angle of elevation from the ground right into someone's nuts in an attempt to cause erectile dysfunction (as perfected by AUDREY LOW)
3.)The "Pirated Zidane" where a player runs head-on while dribbling the ball into another player, however it is the other player's HEAD that gets struck instead of the chest (as perfected by KIAN HOW)
4.)The "Roadblock" in which the smacking edge of the stick is used to block another player's while the opponent is standing still (as perfected by LEONARD)
5.)The "Shotgun" in which the ball is scored into an opposing goal from a distance of 5cm without any resistance at all (as perfected by LEONARD again)
6.)The "Mash-Up" in which three or more players around the ball swing their sticks around frantically trying to hit the ball, but the ball stays still while the only things that get whacked are legs (as perfected by SHIRLEEN, KRYSTAL and JESLYN)
7.)The "Great Wall" in which three or more consecutive shots are blocked off the goalpost within a time span of 20 seconds (as perfected by LAUREN)
8.)The "Handwriter" where the smacking edge of the stick comes into contact with an opposing player's arm at high velocity (as perfected by SHANNON)
9.)The "Crazy Bastard" in which a player simply goes mad during the game (as perfected by KAI SHUN)
10.)The "Accidental Limelighter" in which goals are scored by chance by the same person a few times, earning the person great applause (as perfected by SARAH)
