how wonderful leaders are created

firstly, i wish to create this post to address the efforts of our leaders during the camp today. i was planning to put these photos with the earlier post, but then the title would be wrong. and since they have put in their best, it is only right i dedicate one ENTIRE post to them.

to begin with, let's make special mention to the two most significant people: our

GAME-MASTERS.

don't we all know that kian how and evadne really did much of the carrying-out of plans during the camp, and did their job well. their efforts actually made our tasks easier, as i can bet you that at least 80% of the co-ordination was done by them. don't we all agree. imagine if the two of them weren't around, how much trouble it would be for the rest of us to actually organize things and make them work out with minimal room for error. it took a lot to run this day camp, and the two of them proved their worth to take charge. i would also like to make special mention to evadne who had to raise her voice most of the time and get worked up every so often but somehow or rather manages to manage her feelings. well done.



also, we cannot forget the two most DILIGENT people in our team, our

EMCEES.

none of the games would have been as fun as what we've been through today without the proper planning and tasking of our two wonderful classmates, audrey and kai shun. making long trips down for half-day-long meetings, sorting through tonnes of paperwork and revising proposals over and over again, i want to commend the two of them for coming up with a fun-filled, flawless plan that really made this camp a success. audrey had to rush down to meetings halfway through her training, while kai shun got everyone organised by sending out appropriate reminders so that things would not be forgotten, as well as keeping the meeting room lively during long and dry discussions. job very nicely done guys.

and neither can we forget those who work behind the scenes, our

LOGISTICS CREW.

although they may not have appeared as often during the duration of the camp as much as the rest of us, our logistics team, melody, shirleen and joanna kept up to task by preparing the essential materials and food for the camp. with their help, every item required for each activity station was set-up at the right time, without delay. also, with quite a number of us spending a huge amount of our energy on the children, we were drained even before breaks and were looking forward to them, especially getting the chance to fill up again. upon reaching our break venues, food and drinks were already prepared and waiting for us. by having a capable and efficient logistics team, we have successfully managed to keep up to timing. thank you, girls.


as i end this post, i want to make something known to all of you guys reading this, especially our 1T08 classmates. if you guys have any word of commendation you would like to make to any of our leaders or thanking them for their efforts, don't hesitate to send the comment to me. i will update this post regularly and i will publicly display the praises for our hardworking classmates. don't worry, i will include your names. :)

I can't imagine what the camp would have been like if one of you weren't there. There'd have been this missing thingy thingy thing.. forget it. Bottom line, i appreciate it that everyone who made it made it. :D
